1. Are taken in indirect natural sunlight
2. Clear details in the pet's eyes/fur/ face
3. Taken from a reasonable angle & distance to ensure a good painting composition

*Sometimes our pets pass away & photos for a pet portrait are limited/low quality. This doesn't mean you can't get one made. Please inquire with the artist & she'll try her best to provide anyone a portrait that asks.
